'Uttarachemmeen' shoot progresses

The shooting of ‘Uttarachemmeen’ inspired from the classic Malayalam movie ‘Chemmeen’ is progressing. Biyon and Ansiba Hassan do the lead roles.

‘Uttarachemmen’ is directed by Benny Asamsa, who confirmed that the movie is not a sequel to Ramu Karyatt’s ‘Chemmeen’, but the film presents certain characters in ‘Chemmeen’ in a new perspective.

‘Uttarachemmeen’ narrates the story of Panchami, who was the sister of Karuthamma in ‘Chemmeen’. Madhu and Geetha Vijayan are also seen in major roles.

Cherthala is the main location. ‘Uttarachemmeen’ is expected to be released in November.
