SYNOPSIS:

"Ghajini" is a story centered on a millionaire businessman who battles for woman's emancipation, and woman's rights.

The cusp of the story is that of a young man who fights for the cause of liberating woman from the clutches of social blights. Surya appears in two different get-ups. As one, he plays a fashionable Sanjay Ramasamy a young business tycoon and as other he appears as an aggressive man on a chase to thwart the plans of the villain played by Prathapsingh Ravath.

Surya suffers from amnesia, which lasts only for 15 minutes. What happens during this brief period of memory loss is told in many twists and turns. Nayanthara, who plays a medical student, stumbles upon the medical report of the hero while doing a project work along with her friends. She meets Surya to share her discovery after, which her life is never the same again.

In order to look more real, Surya has shaved his head and tattooed his entire body.

Asin plays Surya's heartthrob. The movie also stars Manobala, Sathyan, and Riyaz Khan.

Music director Harris Jayaraj, whose popularity has increased manifold after the success of tunes in "Anniyan", has scored six heart-rendering musical composition for this movie. Kanal Kannan has handled the action choreography.

The movie is sure to take the film world by storm according to A.R.Murugadass, the director, who has also penned the story, screenplay and dialogue for the movie.

Murugadass was introduced to the Tamil Cinema through "Ramana", which made great impact for its rhythmic narrative drive and spine chilling suspense. He also wielded the megaphone for "Dhina" which also faired well at the box office.

"Though many Tamil cinemas has been painted with the same theme, the way the story is told will make "Ghajini" altogether a memorable entertainment," says Murugadas.

"Ghajini", which means victory, is hugely expected to prove the same at the box office.
