'Odiyan' team on location hunt in Varanasi

The crew of film “Odiyan” is on a location hunt in and around Varanasi these days. The film’s director V.A. Shrikumar posted a message along with a photograph on his Twitter page on Wednesday.

“Odiyan manickan's journey starts here on the holy ghats of Varanasi. Location hunt for odiyan. Bliss,” he tweeted. Mohanlal essays the character Odiyan Manikkan in the movie and Manju Warrier plays the female lead.

Odiyan was a tribal community of Palakkad-Malabar region, which has now become extinct.
