'Yodha' director makes acting debut

Filmmaker Sangeeth Sivan will be making his debut as an actor in the upcoming film ‘Kottayam’ as an actor. He is playing the protagonist in the film, which is set to hit the big screen on January 10.

Sivan, who is the brother of cinematographer and director Santhosh Sivan, has directed many hit films in Hindi and Malayalam, including Mohanlal starrer ‘Yodha’. He has also produced the Malayalam movie 'E'.

The flick, helmed by Binu Bhaskar, also features Ravi Mathew, Aneesh G Menon, Nzanbeni Kithan, Nimmy Raphael, Chinnu Kuruvila and Sreenath K Janardhanan et al.

It is produced by Sajith Narayanan and Binu Bhaskar under the banner of Nitevox Technologies Pvt Ltd. Binu Bhaskar also cranks the camera. The film has screenplay by Sajith and Binu. Albin Dominic composes music and Dafoosa handles editing.
