Three releases this weekend

Three most awaited movies will hit the theatres this weekend – Mammootty-starrer ‘Balyakala Sakhi’, Nivin Pauly-Nazriya jodi’s ‘Om Santhi Osana’, and Suresh Gopi’s ‘Salaam Kashmir’.

‘Balyakala Sakhi’, based on the story of Vaikkom Muhammed Basheer is directed by Pramod Payyannur. Mammootty plays the role of Majid and Isha Talwar as Suhara, his lady love. Meena plays Majeed’s mother. ‘Balyakala Sakhi’ is produced by M B Muhsin and Sajeeb Hashim.

‘Om Santhi Osana’ is a love story set in the backdrop of a village. Directed by debutante Jude Antony, the film also stars Vineeth Sreenivasan, Aju Varghese, Vijayaraghavan, Renji Panicker a nd Lal Jose along with Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazim. Alwin Atony produces ‘Om Santhi Osana’ under the banner of Ananya Films.

‘Salaam Kashmir’ set in Army background stars Suresh Gopi and Jayaram in the lead roles. The movie is directed by veteran director Joshiy. ‘Salaam Kashmir’ is produced by Mahaa Subair for Varnachithra.
