Theatre strike: ‘Jack Daniel' release pushed to Nov. 15

The release of actor Dileep’s upcoming film ‘Jack Daniel’ has been postponed to November 15, a day after its previously scheduled release date. The makers of the film were forced to shift the release date due to the strike called by theatre owners’ association, demanding the withdrawal of double entertainment tax implemented by the state government.

The film marks Dileep’s collaboration with writer-director Jayasurya of ‘Speed Track’ fame. The movie has Anju Kurian playing the female lead. Tamil actor Arjun Sarja will be playing an important role in the movie.

It is produced by Shibu Thameens. Santhana Krishnan handles cinematography while Gopi Sundar scores music.
