'Take Off' grabs audience award at IFFLA

Close on the heels of the Special Jury Mention Award for actress Parvathy in the National Award, Mahesh Narayanan-directed “Take Off” has won the Audience Award at the 16th annual Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA).

The audiences at the IFFLA chose the film as their favourite narrative feature film of the festival.

Commenting on the honour, Mahesh Narayanan tweeted: “Thank you @iffla for screening #TakeOff and extremely happy to receive the Audience Award for the Best Feature! Big thank you for the Film Programmers, IFFLA organisers, Jury and the film lovers of Los Angeles for this award!”

He also posted a photograph from the festival along with the tweet. “Take Off,” starred by Parvathy, Kuchako Boban and Fahad Faazil, has won several accolades so far in several film festivals.
