Suresh Gopi as doctor, Jayasurya as patient

Suresh Gopi plays Dr Vijay Nambiar and Jayasurya as his patient in the movie ‘Appothikkiri’ directed by Madhav Ramdasan. The word appothikkiri is the local name for a doctor.

The character played by Suresh Gopi is a neurosurgeon who sticks to ethics. Abhirami plays his wife as a gynecologist. Jayasurya is reportedly playing a mental patient in the movie. Asif Ali and Meera Nandan are also seen in major roles in this movie.
