Subhiksha in 'Kanthari'

‘Olipporu’ fame Subhiksha plays one of the heroines in the upcoming movie ‘Kanthari’ which is the debut directorial venture of Ajmal. Rachana Narayanankkutty does the other female lead.

Shekhar Menon, Sunil Sugatha, Sreejith Ravi, Kalinga Sasi, and Chembil Asokan also do prominent roles in ‘Kanthari’.

‘Kanthari’ is a thriller which brings to light certain individuals unaccepted by the mainstream society. The movie also deals with certain social issues.

Subhiksha who made her Malayalam debut with ‘Olipporu’ opposite Fahad Fazil plays a Muslim girl named Sulthana in ‘Kanthari’. Sulthana belongs to a traditional Muslim family, but she is a modern girl.

‘Kanthari’ is produced by R Prabhukumar under the banner of Siva Shirdi Sai Baba.
