Nowadays, the film industry is getting more and more expensive and extravagant. The Malayalam industry too follows suit. Recently, Dileep starrer ‘Ivan Maryada Raman’ was in the news for its shooting set costing Rs 1 crore.


The latest news is that a single Malayalam song is made with a whooping budget Rs 80 lakhs. The song is for the movie ‘Cousins’ starring Kunchacko Boban and Indrajith in the lead roles.


The song is shot at Mysore Palace. Around 600 artists were present during the picturization of this musical extravaganza along with Kunchacko Boban, Indrajith, and Vedika. The lyrics by Rafeeq Ahmed are composed by M Jayachandran. The beautiful song is sung by Shreya Goshal.


Perhaps this will be the most extravagant song in the Malayalam industry so far. ‘Cousins’ directed by Vysakh is a mass entertainer.


Nedumudi Venu, Kalabhavan Shajon, Telugu actor Pradeep Ravuther, Suraj Venjarammoodu, and Joju George are the other main actors in the film.


Bangalore and Pollachi are the main shooting locations. The movie is expected to be released for Christmas.
