Sana Althaf's role in 'Rani Padmini'

‘Mariam Mukku’ fame Sana Althaf does a major role in the forthcoming movie ‘Rani Padmini’ directed by Aashiq Abu.

Manju Warier and Rima Kallingal do the title roles of Rani and Padmini. The film has no lead male actors. It plots the life and experiences of two women who are strangers. The script of the movie is penned by Shyam Pushkar.

‘Rani Padmini’ is a thriller and at the same time a feel good travel movie. 'Rani Padmini' is the story of two women who embark on a journey from Kochi to Himachal Pradesh via Delhi, with varied aims.

Sana Althaf does the role of a paraglider in the movie. The actress said that she has never done such an adventurous act earlier in her real or reel life and so is very much excited to do the role. She is also thrilled to share screen space with Manju Warier and Rima Kallingal.

The cast also includes Sajitha Madathil, Jinu Joseph, Sreenath Bhasi, Soubin Shahir, and Dileesh Pothen. The shooting of the movie is progressing in Manali.
