'Salaam Kashmir' finally hits the theatres

Veteran director Joshiy’s ‘Salaam Kashmir ‘finally hits the theaters today. The movie is scripted by Sethu and has Jayaram and Suresh Gopi in the lead roles. Jayaram also sings one of the songs in the movie. Mia is the heroine.

Though the movie was expected to release much earlier, it gets postponed many times due to various reasons. During the last weekend also the movie was all set to release but in the last moment was postponed again.

The reason cited for the delay is the multi stage approval and sanction required from the Indian Army as the film is set in military background. The film plots army officers’ personal and professional life.

Joshiy‘s earlier movies ‘Nair Sab’ and ‘Sainyam’ were also set in the backdrop of Defense force.
