Actor-filmmaker Revathy will direct the Tamil remake of the critically acclaimed Hindi hit movie ‘Queen’. The script and dialogues are penned by Suhasini Maniratnam.
There will be a few changes in the script to suit the Tamil. The cast will be finalized, once the script is ready. Actor-producer Thyagarajan is the producer.
The 2014 movie ‘Queen’ directed by Vikas Bahl has won several awards including the Best Actress Award for Kangana Ranaut who did the lead role.
Revathy won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film, for her debut directorial venture ‘Mitr, My Friend’. This is her sixth directorial venture.
