'Ranam' release date confirmed

The release of Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer ‘Ranam’ (also known as ‘Detroit Crossing’) has been confirmed. The film, which is set in Detroit and revolves around the plight of immigrants settled in the US, is set to hit the screens on September 6.

Directed by debutant Nirmal Sahadev, the film stars Rahman, Isha Talwar and Nandhu plays key roles.

The film is bankrolled by Anand Payyanur and Lawson Biju under the banner of Yes Cinema Company and Lawson Entertainment. Jakes Bejoy composes music and Jigme Tenzing cranks the camera. Sreejith Sarang handles editing.
