Priyadarshan plans to retire

As per rumors veteran director Priyadarshan is planning to retire from the film industry. According to sources, his plan to quit films is due to quite personal reasons. The reports also say that though he plans to retire from taking films, he wishes to continue as the Chalachithra Academy Chairman.

Some days back there were reports in the media that Priyadarshn and his wife Lissy were on the verge of a split, but later they reconciled.

Priyadarshan’s last released movie was the psychological horror thriller movie ‘Gitanjali’ starring Mohanlal in the lead role.
