Prithviraj to launch teaser of ‘Backpackers' on Feb. 14

Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran will release the official teaser of ‘Backpackers’, scripted and directed by Jayaraj, on Valentine’s Day, February 14. Delhi-based Karthika Nair is making her debut in the film, which has actor Kalidas Jayaram as the protagonist. Karthika will essay the character Diya.

Both of them are cancer survivors in the film, which was shot on location at a couple of hospitals in Kottayam and Thiruvalla, and also in Gavi, Wagamon and Varkala.

It has six songs composed by Sachin Shankar. The film also features Renji Panicker, Shivajith Padmanabhan, Ullas Pandhalam and Sabita Jayaraj.
