'Pedithondan' to be released on October 31

National Award winner Suraj Venjarammoodu’s new film ‘Pedithondan’ will be released on October 31. ‘Pedithondan’ is directed by Pradeep and is produced by Anaswara under the banner of Anaswara Cinemas.

The movie is scripted by U Prasannakumar. ‘Pedithondan’ is the story of Rajeevan (Suraj Venjarammoodu), who is a victim of intense phobia from his childhood. Rajeevan is liked by all the villagers for his innocence and loving nature.

The film is set in Malabar where the traditional rituals of Theyyam and related customs are practiced. The film narrates how Rajeevan comes out of his fears and does the Theyyam Kanalattam.

Anusri is the heroine. Madhupal, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Sreehari, Nilambur Aisha, Roji P Kurien, and Sinaj Kalabhavan also do important roles in ‘Pedithondan’.
