Padmapriya to don a historical character

Though not a Malayalee, Padmapriya is loved by Malayalees for her characters in ‘Kazhcha’, ‘Vadakkumnathan’, ‘Amrutham’, ‘Rajamanickyam’, and ‘Karutha Pakshikal’.

Her character Neeli in ‘Pazhassiraja’ proved that she is versatile to do such varied characters. Now she is again all set to don another historical character in the upcoming movie ‘Iyobinte Pusthakam’.

Padmapriya plays Rahela, a Christian girl in ‘Iyobinte Pusthakam’ directed by Amal Neerad. The movie narrates a historical story based on The Book of Job from the Old Testament of the Bible.

Fahad Fazil and Isha Sherwani do the lead roles in this movie. Jayasurya, Reenu Mathews, Lena, Lal, and Sreejith Ravi also include the main cast list.

Fahad Fazil and Amal Neerad together produce ‘Iyobinte Pusthakam’. The story is by debutante Gopan Chidambaram. Ootty, Munnar, and Vagamon are the main locations.
