'Padayottam' release announced

The release of film “Padayottam,” which was supposed to hi the screens during Onam, was announced on Tuesday. The Biju Menon starrer film will hit the cinemas on September 14. Directed by debutant Rafeek Ibrahim, this film is produced by Sophia Paul under the banner of Weekend Blockbusters.

Biju Menon plays a local gangster Chenkal Raghu in the movie. Anu Sithara plays the female lead. It also stars Dileesh Pothan, Saiju Kurup, Lijo Jose Pellissery, Basil Joseph, Sudhi Koppa and Harish Kanaran, among others.

It has been scripted by Arun AR and Ajai Rahul. Music is scored by Prashanth Pillai. Ratheesh Raj handles editing and Satheesh Kurup helms the camera.
