'Odiyan' release announced

Mohanlal’s much-awaited upcoming film ‘Odiyan’ gets a release date, finally. The movie’s director, VA Shrikumar Menon, took to his Twitter page on Sunday and announced the release date.

“It’s final wrap - odiyan at 3am. Now final lap of post prdn before he reaches you in theater on dec 14th. Started on a night in varanasi and ended on another night. 1.5 years with odiyan . God bless,” Shrikumar Menon tweeted announcing the final wrap of shoot of the film.

According to his tweet, the film will hit the screens on December 14. The film features Manju Warrier, Prakash Raj, Manoj Joshi, Siddique, Innocent, Sana Althaf and Appani Sarath among others. Music is composed by M. Jayachandran and Shaji Kumar cranks the camera. Scripted by K. Harikrishnan, the film’s editor is Johnkutty.
