'Vinodayathra', 'Khakhee' have a seesaw run

Kochi, June 17 (IANS) There is an upheaval in the charts as a number of films were released last week and made it to the list of top five films. Some came up; others went down.

The top five Malayalam films are:

1. "Vinodayathra": The Sathyan Anthikkad film starring Dileep and Meera Jasmine is for a family audience and has succeeded in pulling crowds.

2. "Khakhee" - Prithviraj's film has dropped to second place as "Vinodayathra" rises to the top.

3. "Time" - Actor Suresh Gopi and director Shaji Kailas unite again for yet another thriller and thrillers are what people never tire of.

4. "Chotta Mumbai" - Mohanlal's comedy and Anwar Rasheed's direction still hold audiences.

5. "Nanma" - Actors Kalabhavan Mani and Rahman come together under the direction of Sharath Chandran Wayanad and their joint efforts have brought the film to the list this fortnight.
