Vinayan accused of plagiarism

Cochin, Jan.11 (NR): Director Vinayan has been accused of plagiarism. It is Sabu Signature, prominent ad designer who has accused Vinayan of lifting his story for the director's new film 'Raghuvinte Swantham Rasiya'.

Sabu has filed a complaint against Vinayan in court. Sabu who was a staunch supporter of the director during the MACTA - FEFCA war, says that he had told Vinayan a story during those days.

His story had a title 'Babukkuttante Swantham Noorjahan', and from the title of Vinayan's new film, its obvious that he has used the story, says Sabu.

Vinayan however, has brushed aside Sabu's accusations and says that the ad designer is vengeful only because he wasn't offered the ad designs of his new film.
