Tabu is back to Malayalam again after her cameo appearance in a song sequence in ‘Urumi’. This time it is for M Padmakumar’s new venture ‘Orissa’ starring Unni Mukundan in the lead role.
Tabu will be playing the role of a teacher in this movie scripted by ‘Vellaripravinte Chengathi’ fame G S Anil which will be on sets soon. Tabu has not yet given her final consent for the role.
‘Orissa’ is a love story set against the backdrop of Orissa with Unni Mukundan in the role of a police officer on deputation to Orissa. The cast also includes artists from Orissa.
Tabu’s role in ‘Kalapani’, directed by Priyadarshan, opposite Mohanlal has won laurels for her.
