Sheela in 'Ponmudipuzhayorathu'

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 20 (IANS): After captivating audiences with excellent performances in "Manassinakkare" and "Akale", Sheela again has a central role in a Malayalam film.

The film, "Ponmudipuzhayorathu", is directed by Johnson Esthapan. It also has Meenakshi, Suja Kaarthika and Manju Warrier's brother Madhu.

Sheela ruled Malayalam cinema as a young woman. Prem Nazir and Sheela acted in a record number of films as hero and heroine.

She bade goodbye to films while the going was still good, and became a wife and mother. Now that she has come back, she has been accorded the kind of respect and warmth that few other older actresses have received so far.

She has also been showered with excellent performance-oriented roles.
