Shanu to make a comeback through 'Tournament'

Cochin, Oct.9 (NR): Director Fazil's son Fahad Fazil aka Shanu is getting ready for a second innings in Malayalam films.

Shanu's acting debut several years back through his father's film 'Kayyethum Doorathu' had not gone that well, and the young actor had moved over to the US for further studies.

Years later in 2009, Shanu was seen in brief, but significant roles in two films, 'Kerala Cafe' and 'Pramani'.

Now he has been signed up by hit maker Lal to do the lead role in his new film 'Tournament', which is a road movie. Lal hopes to offer his Guru Dakshina to his mentor Fazil, through this film.

'Tournament' would make it to the theatres as a Christmas release this year.
