'Omanappuzha' tops Malayalam songs chart

Kochi, Oct 19 (ANS) The hit track "Omanappuzha" from the film "Chaandupottu" is the song of the fortnight.

1.Omanappuzha - Film: "Chaandupottu";Music: Vidyasagar; Lyrics: Vayalar Sharathchandra Varma; Singer: Vineeth Sreenivasan. Dileep dancing with his female friends: An intelligent ploy used by director Lal Jose to acclimatize viewers to the unusual character portrayed by the actor.

2. Velmuruka - Film: "Naran"; Music: Deepak Dev; Lyrics: Kaithapram; Singer: M.G. Sreekumar. This is a typical blockbuster song from Mohanlal's stable.

3. Aazhakkadalinte - Film: "Chaandupottu"; Music: Vidyasagar; Lyrics: Vayalar Sharathchandra Varma. Singer: S. Janaki. Janaki lends her voice to veteran actress Sukumari in this lullaby.

4. Naran - Film: "Naran"; Music: Deepak Dev; Lyrics: Kaithapram; Singers: K.S. Chitra and Vineeth Sreenivasan. Vineeth Sreenivasan is the new blue-eyed boy among the plethora of young singers making their mark in Malayalm cinema.
