Njaan rolls off - Jishnu and Karthika to lead

Njaan, directed by Nazar Azeem and having Jishnu and Karthika in lead roles, has started rolling in Vandiperiyaar. Produced by P. Nandakumar (the producer of Madhuranombarakaattu) under the banner of Jyothi Films, Njaan also features in the cast Thilakan, Salim Kumar, Saadique, KPAC Lalitha, Master Devdas etc. Ace-footballer-turned actor I.M. Vijayan too does a key role in the film.

The script for the film is written by P.S. Kumar while songs penned by Vayalar Sharath Chandra Varma have been set to tune by Kaithapram Viswanath. Njaan is made out to be a film with a mix of sentiments, humour, action and drama. Karthika has not been seen much in Malayalam Cinema for some time since she was busy with Tamil films. Jishnu had almost been written off. It remains to be seen whether the pair manages to stage a come back to the Malayalam screen.
