Minister Jose Thettayil turns actor

Kannur, Apr.4 (NR): Minister Jose Thettayil turned actor for 'Nakharam', a film directed by T Deepesh.

The minister took on the role of a judge and got his scene right on the first take itself. The shooting was held at Koothuparambu High School.

The minister took part in the climactic shoot. It was make up man Pattanam Rasheed who got the minister ready for the shot. Though he was acting for the first time, being in films is not entirely new to the minister, since he had earlier directed a documentary.

'Nakharam' has former Transport Minister and actor K B Ganesh Kumar doing the chief role. Dr. Vatsalan Vathussery has scripted the film that is being produced by V C Ismail.
