manju- Mammootty's new heroine

For quite some time now Mammootty has been getting new heroines pitted against him in many of his films. And here comes another addition to the list - Manju. She is Mammookka's new heroine in Rowdram, Renji Panicker's second directorial venture, after the blockbuster Bharath Chandran IPS (which also marked the comeback of Suresh Gopi). Rowdram has Mammootty playing the daring Police Officer once again. This time he is playing a firebrand Assistant Commissioner named Narendran, known to all as 'Nari' and debutante Manju gives company as Narendran's wife Prabha.

Based in Chennai and haling from Cherthala in Alappuzha District of Kerala, Manju is a product of the Ethiraj College, Chennai and is doing a course in Fashion Technology and has never ever even attempted acting. It was a family friend who proved instrumental in Manju's coming to the world of Cinema. She is lucky indeed that her first film is opposite none other than Mammootty and that too directed and scripted by Renji Panicker, who knows the pulse of the audience very well. The investigative story could go down well with the audience and thus it could be great times ahead for Manju.
