Flash sees Sibi Malayil & Mohanlal Teaming up yet again

Director Sibi Malayil and actor Mohanlal, who had teamed up in the past to give us memorable films - most of them incidentally scripted by Lohithadas - team up once again for Flash. The film being produced by Tomichchan Mulagupaadam under the banner of Mulagupaadam Films, started rolling in Kanhangad in Kasargode district and has since shifted over to Kozhikode, where shooting is currently in progress.

Scripted by S. Bhasurachandran (the journalist-turned-scenarist who had earlier scripted Utsavamelam and Ezhunnullaththu), Flash tells a very interesting story. Mohanlal plays a character named Mithun Madhav who has his own IT business in Mumbai. Mithun, who is back home in Kerala on a vacation, happens to meet Dhwani, a young girl with certain psychological problems. Dhwani, who was born and brought up in Chennai, is in Kerala, visiting her grandfather for the first time, along with her father. It is during this visit that Dhwani and Mithun meet. What follows forms the plot of the film.

Flash has Parvathy (of Notebook and Vinodayathra fame) essaying the role of Dhwani. Also in the cast are Jagathy Sreekumar, Saikumar, Jagadeesh, Saadique, Indrajith, Manikuttan, Suresh Krishna, Byon, Sreelatha, P. Sreekumar, Suraaj Venjaramoodu etc. Flash, is an investigative movie which also has elements of family drama. According to scenarist Bhasurachandran, it is different from run-of-the-mill investigative flicks. The film features cinematography by Sajan Kalathil, lyrics by Rafeeque Ahmed and music by Gopi Sundar. Flash is likely to be Mohanlal's Christmas release.
