Ashiq Abu to face the camera

Ashiq Abu appears in front of the camera for the first time in Rajeev Ravi’s debut directorial venture ‘Annayum Rasoolum’. Ashiq acts as Haider, brother of Rasool donned by Fahad Fazil.

Ashiq who never planned to be an actor said that what he has done is not big news. He prefers direction to acting in the future too. He adds that though acting and directing are two different arts, he finds direction tougher than acting.

Ashiq admits that his acting venture is just the result of his friendship with Rajeev Ravi. “Rajeev Ravi was my senior in college and I see him as my elder brother”.

‘Annayum Rasoolum’ is an intense love story presented in a realistic and novel way.
