Ann Augustine in and as 'Rebecca Uthup Kizhakkemala'

Director Sunderdas is back after a long hiatus. His new movie is ‘Rebecca Uthup Kizhakkemala’. Pooja of the film was held at Kochi in the presence of stars including Dileep.

Sunderdas who made his debut with the hit film ‘Sallapam’, tells a novel story through ‘Rebecca Uthup’. Ann Augustine dons Rebecca. Jishnu Raghavan and Sidharth Bharathan who made their debut in Kamal’s ‘Nammal’ are the heroes in ‘Rebecca Uthup Kizhakkemala’.

Rebecca Uthup Kizhakkemala’ plots the story of an athlete who is a gold medalist in the Asian Games and eagerly dreams to be part of Olympics. The movie explores the relation between Rebecca and the people whom she encounters in her life.

Nirmal, Kalabhavan Mani, Saikumar, Suraj, Kalabhavan Shajon, Shanavas, and Niyaz Becker are the supporting cast. Ratheesh Vega composes music for the lines of Rafeeq Ahmed. Venketesh Upadhyaya produces the film under the banner of Upadhyaya Movie Crafts.

The screenplay is by V C Ashok who had earlier teamed up with Sunderdas for the films ‘Kuberan’ and ‘Varnakazhchakal’. ‘Rebecca Uthup Kizhakkemala’ will go on floors at Thodupuzha next week.
