Scenarist-turned-director A.K. Sajan, who had earlier directed Stop Violence and Lanka, now gets ready for his next directorial venture, Pamba. The film is to be produced by Santhosh Damodaran of Damor Cinema, who had produced Lanka as well as many other films.

Pamba is being talked about as the first 'Road Movie' in Malayalam. It sketches the journey undertaken by four youths from New Delhi to the holy shrine of Sabarimala. In the course of the journey some totally unexpected events take place.

Pamba will have in key roles four debutante heroes while four new girls would do the female lead roles too. Also in the cast would be Manoj K. Jayan, Siddique, Saiju Kurup, Kaviyoor Ponnamma etc. To be scripted by A.K. Sajan himself, Pamba will begin rolling in July this year.
