'Nellikka' for Deepak, not Asif

It was reported earlier that Asif Ali will do the lead role in the film ‘Nellikka’. But according to latest reports, the role will be done by Deepak Parambal.

‘Nellikka’ is directed by debutante Bijith Bala. Bijith Bala is a film editor who has edited many films including the award winning films ‘Shutter’ and ‘Kaliyachen’.

The movie is scripted by P R Arun. Deepak does Balu who is an ardent fan of singer Baburaj. Bollywood actor Atul Kulkkarni is also seen in a major role.

Deepak Parambal is known for his roles in ‘Thattathin Marayathu’ and ‘Thira’. In ‘Thattathin Marayathu’ he played a youth communist member and in ‘Thira’ as a villain.
