Salim Kumar having done scores of comedy roles finally surprised us with a whopper performance in Lal Jose's 'Achanurangatha Veedu'.

Now several comical roles later, Salim is back doing a very serious role in Salim Ahmed's new film 'Adaminte Makan Abu'. This role is expected to do wonders to Salim Kumar's career, and offers the actor maximum opportunities to explore his potential.

The film that has been produced under the banner of Alan Media has been shot on locations at Kozhikode and Thrissur is ready for release.

Zarnia Wahab, who had made a comeback to Malayalam films with 'Calendar' plays the lead female role in the film.

Besides Salim and Zarina, the film also stars several other actors like Mukesh, Kalabhavan Mani, Suraj Venjaramood, Nedumudu Venu, Mala Aravindan and Thampi Antony in key roles.

Renowned cinematographer Madhu Ambatt has wielded the camera. Pandit Ramesh Narayanan has composed the music while Rafeeq Ahmed has written the lyrics.
