Kozhikode court stays 'Adaminte Makan Abu' release

Kozhikode, May.21 (NR): Kozhikode court has stayed the release of the National Award winning Malayalam film 'Adaminte Makan Abu', following a petition filed by Ashraf Bedi, who claims to be the co-producer of the film.

Ashraf has alleged that the film was a joint initiative of himself and director Salim Ahmed. However, he says that his name was omitted from the documents provided to the National Award jury.

Meanwhile, its heard that Mammootty's production house Playhouse, has expressed a desire to release the film. The film has been adjudged the Best Film, and it also brought the Best Actor award to its lead actor Salim Kumar. Click the Movie button below for more info:
