Mohanlal-Major Ravi movie titled '1971, Beyond Borders'

Mohanlal and Major Ravi are again joining for an army based thriller titled ‘1971, Beyond Borders’. Earlier the film was titled ’71 War’. The movie is based on the 1971 India-Pakistan war.

The movie which is expected to start its shoot by next year will be shot mainly in the deserts of Rajastan. The film narrates the life and friendship of two army officials.

Rana Daggubati will play the other major role alongside Mohanlal. The story of ‘1971, Beyond Borders’ is based on a true incident. The script is written by Major Ravi himself.

Mohanlal will be seen in three getups. He will play the character named Major Mahadevan. He will also play Major Mahadevan’s father Major Sahadevan.

‘1971, Beyond Borders’ is produced by Haneef Muhammed under the banner of Red Rose Creations.
