'Marakkar – Arabikadalinte Simham' starts rolling in Hyderabad

The much-hyped film by director Priyadarshan, ‘Marakkar – Arabikadalinte Simham’, is start rolling on Saturday in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.

Sharing the photographs of the puja, Priyadarshan tweeted: "KUNJALI MARAKKAR" - Marakkar - Arabikadalinte Simham starts rolling today.”

Mohanlal will be playing the lead in the movie, which also has Prabhu, Suneil Shetty, Manju Warrier, Arjun Sarja, Mukesh and Keerthy Suresh in key roles. It is based on the true life of Kunjali Marakkar IV, who is most popular of the Marakkars. Marakkar IV was the Muslim naval chief of the Zamorin (Samoothiri) during the 16th century in Kerala.

This big budget movie is bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor, Santhosh T. Kuruvilla and C.J. Roy. Art director Sabu Cyril and cinematographer Thiru are part of the project. Click the Movie button below for more info:
