Manju Warrier as 'Aami'; first look poster unveiled

Manju Warier’s first look as ‘Aami’, directed by Kamal, is unveiled. The shooting of the movie has been started at Punnayurkkulam, Thrissur, the birthplace of Madhavikutty.

Manju Warier looks ravishing in the traditional makeover. ‘Aami’ is a biopic based on poet and litterateur Madhavikutty, Kamala Das aka Kamala Surayya.

‘Aami’ is based on Madhavikutty’s autobiography “My Story”. Mumbai, Kolkata, and Kerala are the locations. Prithviraj, Murali Gopi, and Anoop Menon play prominent roles.

‘Aami’ is produced by Raphael P Thomas and Roban Rocha under the banner of Reel and Real Cinema. Madhu Neelakantan cranks camera for the movie.
