Mammootty-Dulquer Salman face off in box office

Mammootty’s ‘Bhaskar the Rascal’ and Dulquer Salman’s Tamil flick ‘OK Kanmani’ will compete in the theaters during this Vishu festive season.

Both the releases will be a feast for the fans of both Mammootty and Dulquer Salman as the movies are made by two hit makers – Siddique and Mani Ratnam respectively.

'Bhaskar the Rascal' is touted to be a comedy family entertainer with Nayantara as the heroine. Mammootty has earlier shared screen space with Nayantara in ‘Thaskaraveeran’ and ‘Rappakal’. Mammootty and Siddique have earlier worked together for 'Hitler' and 'Chronic Bachelor'.

Janardhanan, Harisree Asokan, Kalabhavan Shajon, Saju Navodaya, Master Sanoop, Santhosh, Baby Anigha, Chali Pala, Radhakrishnan, Ashraf, Devi Ajith, and Nima Rose are the other main actors.

'Bhaskar the Rascal' is produced by Anto Joseph under the banner of Anto Joseph Film Company.

Dulquer Salman and Nitya Menen are paired in the romantic flick ‘OK Kanmani’. Dulquer Salman plays Aadi. Prakash Raj also does a major role in this film.

P C Sreeram cranks camera for the movie. A R Rehman is the music director. ‘OK Kanmani’ is said to be new age romantic entertainer in the line of the blockbuster movie ‘Alaipayuthe’.

‘Bhaskar the Rascal’ will hit theaters on the Vishu Day – April 15 and ‘OK Kanmani’ will reach the theaters on April 17.
