Mammootty as a Jharkhand native

Mammootty does the role of a native from Jharkhand, who is living in Kerala for the past 20 years, in the upcoming movie ‘Acha Din’.

‘Acha Din’ is directed by Marthandan, who made his debut through Mammootty-starrer ‘Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus’.

The movie is scripted by A C Vijeesh. The Mammootty film 'Immanuel' directed by Lal Jose was scripted by A C Vijeesh.

The heroine is not finalized. Padmaraj, son of late actor Ratheesh, Maniyanpilla Raju, Sudheer Karamana, and Renji Panicker also do prominent roles.

The movie is touted to be a family entertainer. Bijibal composes music for the lyrics by Santhosh Varma.
