Mammoottty sells fish at Kochi

Mammootty plays Tharakan, a wholesale seller of fish to retail marketers. This is for the upcoming movie ‘Manglish’ directed by Salaam Bappu. The movie starts rolling from April 2.

Though not an expert in speaking English, he likes to speak English necessarily and unnecessarily. Mammootty had earlier successfully played such characters in ‘Pokkiriraja’, ‘Mayavi’, ‘Thuruppugulan’, and ‘Thappana’.

‘Manglish’ is scripted by media person P Riyaz. Caroline Beck from Netherland does the female lead in the movie.

Salaam Bappu made his directorial debut with ‘Red Wine’ starring Mohanlal and Fahad Fazil in the lead roles. While ‘Red Wine’ dealt with a serious subject, ‘Manglish will be a complete comedy entertainer.
