'Shutter' to open tomorrow

Award winning movie ‘Shutter’ to release on February 22nd. The film won the Silver Crow Pheasant Award (Rajata Chakoram) for Best Feature Film (Audience Prize) in the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) 2012.The film has also won critical acclaim in various film festivals.

Written and directed by Joy Mathew the film marks the debut of Joy Mathew as a director. Joy Mathew shot to fame by playing the lead character in famous director John Abraham’s ‘Amma Ariyan’. Of late Joy Mathew has acted in Malayalam films ‘Annayum Rasoolum’ and ‘Rose Guitarinaal’.

Cast Includes Lal, Sreenivasan, Vinay Fort and Riya Saira. Music is by Shahabaz Aman and Hari Nair cranks the camera for the film. According to Joy Mathew the film is a "poetical violence on celluloid".
