'Kalimannu' to be Ramzan release

Blessy’s ‘Kalimannu’ will reach theatres in August as a Ramzan release. As in his earlier films like ‘Kazhcha’, ‘Thanmatra’, and ‘Pranayam’, ‘Kalimannu’ also proclaims the intensity of human relationships.

‘Kalimannu’ portrays the sacred relationship shared between a mother and her baby, before and after it is born. It has a storyline that deals with relationships and human emotions. Sweta Menon and Biju Menon are cast in the main roles.

Suhasini, Priyadarshan, B Unnikrishnan, Anil Panachooran, Hindi actor Sunil Shetty, and Justice K T Thomas are also included in the cast list.

The film has raised much controversy as Sweta Menon's delivery was shot live on camera for the film. But, the response of both Sweta and the director were to judge the movie only after watching it.
