'Idukki Gold' to start rolling from May

Ashiq Abu’s ‘Idukki Gold’ will start rolling from May. Earlier it was reported that ‘Idukki Gold’ will start only after Mammootty starrer ‘Gangster’.

The movie will be a high range thriller, based on the story Idukki Gold by Santhosh Echikkanam. The movie shot mainly in the high range, plots the get together of a gang who were friends during their school days.

Lal and Prathap Pothen do the key roles. Lal plays a retired head of the Anti-terrorist squad, Vijayan Nambiar. Maniyanpilla Raju, Babu Antony, Vijayaraghavan, and Raveendran also act ion ‘Idukki Gold’.

The screenplay is penned jointly by ‘Salt n’ Pepper’ fame Shyam Pushkar and Dilish Nair.
