4 releases today

Four films are slated for release today. The movies are ‘Orissa’, ‘Up and Down: Mukalil Oralunde’, ‘Aaru Sundarikalude Katha (ASK)’, and ‘Vallatha Pahayan’.

M Padmakumar’s ‘Orissa’ which is set in the backdrop of interior Orissa casts Unni Mukundan and new face Sanika Nambiar in the lead roles. Produced under the banner of Heera Films, ‘Orissa’ is the story of the girl Suneyi, her trials and tribulations.

‘Up and Down: Mukalil Oralunde’ is a suspense thriller which plots the story of nine people who are known to each other and who got trapped in a lift for about 2.5 hours. The film stars Indrajith, Ganesh Kumar, Prathap Pothen, Remya Nambisan, and Meghna Raj in the lead roles. In the banner of Blue Mermaid Picture Company, the movie is produced by V Balachandran, R Karunamurthy, and Latha Kurien Rajeev.

‘Aaru Sundarikalude Katha (ASK)’ tells the story of six beautiful women whose destinies affect each other as they bond together for their respective families in the face of adversities. Directed by Rajesh K Abraham this family sports thriller is produced by A V Anoop under the banner of A V A Productions. Deepak Dev is the music director.

‘Vallatha Pahayan’ is a comic caper aimed at the family audience which casts the whole 'Marimayam' team, a satirical comedy program aired in Mazhavil Manorama. Milan Jaleel produces 'Vallatha Pahayan' in the banner of Galaxy Films.
