Malavika turns heroine

Malavika Nair, who entered the industry as a child artist, now turns heroine. Malavika got the State Award for Best Child Artist for her performance in ‘Oomakkuyil Padumbol’ and ‘Karutha Pakshikal’.

Malavika has taken a break from the industry for a while and is back again as the heroine in the film by debutante director Jayaram Kailas. The movie titled ‘Akkaldamayile Penne’ is based on a real life incident.

Malavika shares screen space with Swetha Menon in this movie. She does the role of the daughter of the character played by Swetha. Malavika said that she has a different role in the film, but she was not ready to reveal more about her character.
