Lena and Kalabhavan Mani in 'Alif'

‘Alif’ directed by debutant Muhammed Koya has Lena and Kalabhavan Mani in the lead roles. The director himself has written the story, screenplay, and dialogues. The film is produced by M S Biju.

‘Alif’ is the story of three generations of women of a family, their struggles set against certain social issues. The movie also stars Nedumudi Venu, Joy Mathew, Irshad, Seenath, and Nilambur Aysha.

The movie has a Malayalam song written by Rafeeq Ahamed and an Arabic song written by Ahmed Dasthi, a director and writer in Kuwait and composed by Hindustani vocalist and composer Pandit Ramesh Narayan, for the first time.
