South Indian actress Lakshmi Rai has changed her name to Raai Laxmi. She chose to change her name in tune with the bold characters that she is doing now.
She said that the plan to change the name has been in her thoughts for a long time. She feels her name to be soft and her characters to be strong. In the coming films, she will be known Raai Laxmi.
Lakshmi Rai is back to Malayalam industry through ‘Rajadiraja’ opposite Mammootty. She has earlier acted with Mammootty in ‘Annan Thambi’ and ‘Chattambinadu’.
