‘Kooman' first look released

First look poster of Kooman directed by Jeethu Joseph starring Asif Ali has released today. The movie is set in a very mysterious background. Asif Ali is playing the lead role for the first time in a film directed by Jeethu Joseph. Kooman is produced by Listyn Stephen under the banner of Magic Frames and Alvin Antony under the banner of Ananya Films.

The film story writer is KR Krishnakumar. Krishnakumar was the writer for Jeethu’s last film ‘Twelfth Man’. This is their second film together. The story of the film takes place in a hilly village on the Kerala Tamil Nadu border. A strict police officer gets transferred to the police station where people of the village have all different cultures live together. His harsh nature turns the lives of the people associated with that police station and the hero upside down. The normal events of that village turn into the extraordinary. The hero's journey after that leads ‘Kooman’ to become a thriller.

Apart from Asif Ali, the other cast includes Ranji Panicker, Baburaj, Meghanathan, Hannah Raji Kosi, Adam Ayub, Baiju, Jaffer Idukki, Pauly Wilson, Karate Karthik, George Marion, Ramesh Tilak, Prashant Murali, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Rajesh Paravoor, Deepak Parambol, James Elia, Vinod Bose, Pradeep Vajraj and Riyaz Narmakala.
